My journey has been one with many twists, turns, detours, bumps, roadblocks, and obstacles to overcome, probably in many ways like yours.
Growing up in a dysfunctional home resulted in great wounding and many poor choices on my part; choices that were futile attempts to meet the many unmet needs I had. After living in pain for many years, a desperation for wholeness led me to discover the only One who could make it possible, Jesus. Though the journey is still often difficult, I am learning that I’m not walking this path alone. No matter how I may feel at times, I know He is always with me, lovingly leading, guiding, comforting, and instructing me in His ways.
The longer I walk with Him, the more I want to know Him – to understand His thoughts, emotions, and ways. This is the essence of all true friendships, and He is my best Friend.
My goal in writing this blog is to share insights to help and encourage you on your own journey. I often write on topics related to the ministries of Restoration A.C.T.S. such as emotional healing, spiritual growth, prayer, etc. I also post personal insights I have gained as I’ve studied and meditated upon Scripture.
My hope is that you will be inspired toward a deeper walk with God that will inspire others as well. I typically post once a week. If you would like to receive my posts by email, click the Sign Me Up! button on the home page.
